sUSX - Stake and Unstake [Once USX Mainnet Goes Live]

Stake and unstake feature will work once pre-deposit ends and USX goes live.

sUSX is the yield-bearing token users receive when staking USX. Holding sUSX automatically accrues rewards, with no additional action required.

As the protocol accumulates rewards in the staking contract, the value of sUSX increases over time relative to USX. The value of sUSX updates monthly.

How to stake:

Steps

  • Go to the stake page

  • Connect your wallet and choose how much USX you want to stake

  • Click on "Stake now" button.

  • Sign the transaction in your wallet. Once confirmed, you'll receive sUSX in your wallet

Staking Rewards Mechanism

  • At launch, the exchange rate is 1 sUSX = 1 USX

  • The value of sUSX gradually increases as protocol rewards accumulate in the staking contract

  • When staking, users receive sUSX based on the current exchange rate

  • The number of sUSX tokens you receive may be lower than the USX staked. Over time, the net asset value (NAV) of sUSX is designed to increase with strategy performance, though it may fluctuate in the short term.

Unstaking Process (sUSX → USX)

When users unstake their sUSX, they receive USX equal to their initial stake plus any protocol revenue earned through staking.

The process takes up to 14 days as underlying positions are unwound. Users must return to the unstake page to claim their USX after the 14-day period, at which point their funds become 'claimable'.

Important: During the unstaking period (up to 14 days), your sUSX stops earning yield as it's removed from active strategies.

Steps

  • Go to the Unstake page

  • Connect wallet and choose the amount of sUSX to unstake. The UI will show how much USX you’ll receive

  • Click on “Unstake” button

  • Sign the transaction. Your request enters the withdrawal queue and will be processed within 15 days.

  • Return to the website to claim your USX once the unstaking period is over.

Note: Holding USX does not generate yield. To earn yield, you need to stake your USX.
